“You lost a few things.” He knelt beside her and dropped her clothes and jewelry.
“Thank you.” Reaching into the yellow satin bag beside her, she removed a handful of rose-scented incense and tossed it into the cauldron. The aromatic burst stirred him. Her entire seduction act thrilled him. This woman seemed to know exactly what he wanted, but why shouldn’t she? Just as he had spent his life mastering seduction, she had done the same. She was too accustomed to being in control, and it was time she learned what it was like to surrender.
Unlike most of the women he had been with, blatant force would not make her bend, even if it meant giving up her chance for pleasure. Any man could force a woman to submit using his superior physical strength or mental abuse, but to make a woman surrender in a way that broke neither her body nor spirit was an art so few ancients understood.
He stood above her, his gaze fixed on hers. In spite of her cool veneer, lust glistened in her eyes. Her breasts swelled as she drew a deep breath.
“Unzip me,” he said.
She raised an eyebrow. “Excuse me?”
He smiled, and for several moments they stared at one another, a battle of wills. Both of them wanted relief from the passion consuming them, but neither was willing to make the first move. Thus far, Rolon had allowed her to take the lead. Now it was his turn, and he would suffer with a century long erection before giving in to her this time.
The slightest smile curved her pretty lips before she pushed herself to her hands and knees and crawled toward him in a shockingly submissive gesture. For a brief moment suspicion nearly overtook him, only to be forgotten when she positioned herself in front of him and unbuttoned his jeans, then used her teeth to tug down the zipper.
