Vampire Master

This book was so hot and sexy I had to stop for several breaks: to pour a glass of water on my head, have a cold shower, and finally beg my husband to come home from work early.

Mel revels in her vampirism and enjoys challenging her powers with savage physical tests. More than anything, she longs to be devoured by one of the ancient alpha males she has only heard about.
Zigor, owner of the notorious club called Burgundy Peak, runs his business and his love life with absolute force. Deeply rooted in the past, he refuses to submit to the modern world. Many women offer him their blood in exchange for the pleasures of his body, but only a select few are allowed to experience his all consuming passion.
To appease her fantasy of a dominant lover, Mel arranges for a meeting with Zigor. What neither realizes is that their joining will force them to confront their deepest fears and change their lives forever.
Excerpt:
"Zigor?" She fought to keep the passion from her voice, difficult when her entire body teetered on the verge of climax. Gritting her teeth, she fought for control of herself.
"You have not been given permission to call me by name."
Mel's eyes closed involuntarily. Raw desire broke over her just from the sound of his voice. It was deep, the words slow and dripping with power. It was the voice of virility itself.
"Isn't it better than calling you 'hey you'?" she breathed.
The invisible fingers on her nipples pinched them a bit too hard for her taste. She gasped. "Hey!"
"Silence, woman."
"Look, I didn't come here to-"
"Of course you did. I've seen you here many times before, sitting down at the bar, sipping blood from a glass instead of from a warm, throbbing artery. I've watched your eyes darken in lusty daydreams of things you want but have been too afraid to seek."
"So you do spy."
"I said silence." Arms wrapped around her waist and pressed her close to a man's chest that seemed made of cold marble, yet she was still alone in the room. Zigor possessed strong telepathic skills. Apparently he was powerful enough to enter her mind without her realizing it until he began fondling her in any way he saw fit. The unfamiliar sensation of vulnerability tightened Mel's belly. She was a fairly good telepath, but no match for him. Now that he was in her head, there was no way to get him out until he decided to leave.
"Good. You recognize your superior."
Vampire Crusader
I loved the tenderness that came through in this book while I read.

With no law to govern the vampire world, Charles Free is a self-appointed Crusader, sworn to fight evil among his own kind. Known long ago as Sir Charles, the Handsome Giant, he was once as proud of his appearance as he is of his honor. When an attack by vampire hunters armed with special silver weapons causes deformities even his power of regeneration cannot heal, Charles chooses to simply disappear, rather than have the woman he loves see his mutilated face.
Alone and heartbroken, Marie Connor wades through months of depression, always hoping that one day Charles will come back to her. When a friend drags her to a Halloween party, she meets a masked stranger who reminds her too much of her missing lover. In her heart, she knows this compelling man is Charles, but why the charade? The answer to her question will only be found in his arms during a night of scorching passion and dark confessions.
Excerpt:
Marie's pulse raced as she walked to her door. Glancing out the nearby window, she noticed the full moon glowing in the otherwise black sky. Her breath came in nervous sips.
"I know you're in there." The deep voice outside echoed in the still night. "I can hear your footsteps."
"And if I don't let you in?"
"You know what I've come for, my lady. I'll not leave without claiming what's mine."
Closing her eyes, Marie drew a steadying breath. She clenched her trembling hands into fists. On bare feet, she padded closer to the door. Her hand was on the lock.
She no sooner turned it than the door burst open.
Crying out in surprise, she backed away from the imposing, black-clad man striding towards her. Tall with broad shoulders, he exuded savage strength that sent chills down her spine. The muscles of his long, lean legs strained against his trousers. "You belong to me, Marie."
"Never!" she snarled, planting her feet firmly and refusing to retreat another inch. "I belong only to myself. If there's a shred of decency in your dark heart, you'll leave this house. Leave my people in peace and return to your hellish fortress."
Reaching out a long arm, he grasped her hair and wrapped it around his hand. Marie gasped, her neck arching as he dragged her so close to his chest that she felt the heat of his body. At one time she had imagined a vampire would feel cold. That was before she learned what they were really like. He was so warm. He breathed and his heart beat, slow and steady.
"My wrath has sent warriors fleeing in fear." He spoke against her lips. "My sword and teeth alone have destroyed armies, yet I'm tempted to obey your wishes. Why?"
At the first stroke of his tongue against her throat, Marie shivered with need. He lapped slowly and gently, like an animal soothing its mate. How much she wanted him!
"Because in your heart you know what's right." She reached up and stroked his face. Beneath his blade sharp cheekbones, he wore a full beard. It was wiry and nearly black in color -- a startling contrast to his pale gray eyes. Those eyes were hard. They'd seen all the ugliness of life and death, yet somewhere in their depths was a spark of gentleness. It was that gentleness combined with his rugged exterior that had lured her from the first.
"Right. Wrong. It doesn't matter anymore." He used the tips of his fangs to caress her throat, careful not to break the skin. The sensation was nothing more than a tickle, yet it sent waves of desire crashing over her body. "I've never wanted a woman this badly."
"I will not give myself to you." She twisted in his grip and shoved him hard. Though his hold loosened, she knew it was not due to her attack. A mere mortal's strength meant nothing to him. Not bothering to consider what his next action might be, she lashed out at his face. Before she reached her mark, he caught her wrist and dragged her to him again. Her breasts flattened against his rock hard chest. Marie's libido sang. Never had she met such a man. This vampire lord was like no other and he belonged to her, if she wanted him.
Wrapping his arms around her, he lifted her so they were almost eye to eye.
"Marie." His lips hovered close to hers. Trembling, she awaited his kiss. Suddenly he released her and turned to the door. "You've claimed my heart. I will not force you to mate with me and I cannot make you love me."
"Wait!" She grasped his arm. Pausing, he gazed down at her. His magnificent eyes gleamed red with bloodlust. The sight of it inspired passion and a hint of fear. "I've -- I've changed my mind."

When her latest john offers to make her a vampire, Dechrista Davis is too strung out to care. Come on. The guy's cute enough, but who would believe a line like that? She must have passed out, because she can't remember much beyond thinking shed heard of worse fetishes. She wakes up in the care of a handsome, mysterious man she's never met before. Even worse, he shares her john's delusions. He calls himself Woodrow Quint, and he offers to be her vampire mentor.
When reality sets in and Dechrista realizes her new set of fangs are not the result of cosmetic dentistry and her increased strength is not simply part of a lingering drug-induced nightmare, she should be horrified. On the other hand, she'll never have to be homeless or hungry again. But right now, all she's hungry for is the one man she can't have -- her vampire guardian Woodrow Quint -- her exact opposite in every way.
Excerpt:
Releasing a slow breath, Woodrow grasped his cane, the handle molded into the shape of a snake, and left his room. Even before he reached the club's foyer, he heard the bouncer and Herb arguing. The distinctive scent of a mortal in the process of the change hung heavily on the air.
"I do not know or care who you are," said Onan, a stern old vampire in charge of security at Burgundy Peak. Onan and Woodrow shared the same vampiric creator, Master Zigor, the club's owner. "You will remove that woman from here immediately."
"Listen, I know Woodrow is here. I need to talk to him."
Woodrow joined them in the foyer. "It's all right, Onan. I know him."
"You know the rules. The Master allows no changes to take place here without special arrangement. We don't want it to get out that Burgundy Peak is the place for vampires to bring their mistakes to die."
"Woodrow, please." Herb's voice rose in his panic. "You have to help me. I really screwed this up."
"She smells normal enough. Onan, how does she look?"
"I've seen worse."
"Master, please!"
Herb must have been frantic to address Woodrow in such an ancient term. Unlike his own Master, Woodrow had never demanded his children call him by such an inflated title. Still, he told all his children stories of the ancient Masters, of the respect they demanded and the power they wielded. Herb only called Woodrow Master when he wanted something outrageous.
"This girl is going to die if you don't help me."
"She might die anyway. You know there are never guarantees that a mortal will survive the transformation, especially if the creator is inexperienced."
"This is my first try. I think I did something wrong."
"I cannot allow you to stand here in the foyer carrying that mortal," Onan said.
"Please, please help me. At least for her sake."
Woodrow's jaw tightened and he scolded himself for being a fool. "You may bring her to my room. Onan, I will talk to Master Zigor about our problem."

Love affairs between Intimates are next to impossible, yet from the moment Autumn Arienn catches his scent and gazes into his eyes, she desires Rolon Adler, an ancient alpha vampire. In spite of the passion burning them like molten silver, Autumn rebels against giving up the power she has fought so hard to achieve.
Aggressive females usually hold little charm for Rolon, yet his attraction to Autumn is almost uncontrollable. Death has already taken his creator from him, and Rolon is not prepared to risk his heart again. Still, he cannot keep away from the magnificent vampiress who stirs him like no woman he has ever known.
Excerpt:
"You lost a few things." He knelt beside her and dropped her clothes and jewelry.
"Thank you." Reaching into the yellow satin bag beside her, she removed a handful of rose-scented incense and tossed it into the cauldron. The aromatic burst stirred him. Her entire seduction act thrilled him. This woman seemed to know exactly what he wanted, but why shouldn't she? Just as he had spent his life mastering seduction, she had done the same. She was too accustomed to being in control, and it was time she learned what it was like to surrender.
Unlike most of the women he had been with, blatant force would not make her bend, even if it meant giving up her chance for pleasure. Any man could force a woman to submit using his superior physical strength or mental abuse, but to make a woman surrender in a way that broke neither her body nor spirit was an art so few ancients understood.
He stood above her, his gaze fixed on hers. In spite of her cool veneer, lust glistened in her eyes. Her breasts swelled as she drew a deep breath.
"Unzip me," he said.
She raised an eyebrow. "Excuse me?"
He smiled, and for several moments they stared at one another, a battle of wills. Both of them wanted relief from the passion consuming them, but neither was willing to make the first move. Thus far, Rolon had allowed her to take the lead. Now it was his turn, and he would suffer with a century long erection before giving in to her this time.
The slightest smile curved her pretty lips before she pushed herself to her hands and knees and crawled toward him in a shockingly submissive gesture. For a brief moment suspicion nearly overtook him, only to be forgotten when she positioned herself in front of him and unbuttoned his jeans, then used her teeth to tug down the zipper.

In the world of the ancients, retribution can last an eternity.
Only one woman has ever captured the heart of the ancient vampire Onan. Two hundred years ago Elizabeth betrayed his trust. Onan has vowed never to forgive. But forevers a long time when youre facing eternity alone.
Elizabeth deeply regrets the foolish indiscretion of her youth. Shes spent the last two hundred years trying to apologize. But theres nothing more powerful -- or more stubborn -- than an ancient vampire whos been wronged.
Each Christmas Elizabeth sends Onan a letter and a gift with the hope that he will welcome her back, yet each year her apology is ignored. This Christmas, however, Onan might just surprise her. Even an ancient must learn from his mistakes...
Excerpt:
For the next hour customers trickled in while outside, the snow fell thick and heavy. Its scent stirred memories of winters past. Finally Onan stepped outside. Standing in front of the club, he narrowed his eyes against the icy wind and licked the snowflakes clinging to his lips. He and Elizabeth used to take long walks in the snow.
Cursing softly, he went inside and tore the letter from his pocket. He broke the wax seal and pored over her words, his entire body tingling. After re-reading it twice, he pocketed it and stepped into the club. Two couples clung to each other on the dance floor and several men and women sat at the bar and at tables.
Master Zigor approached, his penetrating eyes staring into Onan's.
"All this snow is hell on my business," Zigor muttered. "Who would think that vampires would waste a night by hibernating due to a little cold weather?"
Onan nodded slightly, his thoughts focused on the letter.
"You've heard from her, haven't you?"
"What makes you say that?"
Zigor glanced at him as if to say he knew Onan better than Onan knew himself. Unfortunately, that was probably true.
"What gift did she send this year?"
"She didn't. This year she wishes to deliver it in person."
"Excellent. Now perhaps this avoidance nonsense will end."
"It is not nonsense. You of all people should understand that, Master."
"I understand that she was a foolish child when you last knew her."
"She was a disloyal bitch."
"I agree, but she was also a newly made vampire. Though I am too old to recall the details of my youth, I remember the feelings of wildness and curiosity that would have burned me alive, had I not sated their demands. If you are not prepared to accept a child's rebellion, then you should not indulge in parenthood."
"I overlooked many of her rebellious ways, but what she did was unforgivable."
"You are overreacting."
"If Melinda bedded another man behind your back, what would you do?"
Zigor shrugged. "Kill him."
"You know I could not do that."
"Yes. It is most distressing that she cheated on you with another of your children, especially one who did not know that you were in love with her."
"Exactly. She may send as many letters and gifts as she wants, but I will not succumb."
"Amazing."
"What is?"
"That a man of your age can be so stupid. Whether you want to believe it or not, Onan, you will eventually give in because you love her."
"That doesn't matter."
"Doesn't it?"
